When Krystal and Troy were together, it was as if no one else were around. The love between the two of them, and the family surrounding them, was tangible. The situation was actually ideal: they would get so wrapped up in each other, they would forget I was there.
The forecast was gloomy… and this was the third date we had set for some outdoor family photos. We decided to go with it, and as the mother said “Maybe God is telling us to put some rain boots on the kid!” Lucky for us, the rain held off and we had a great time!
We had a great time walking along the canal on a gorgeous summer day. When we finished up, Anne mentioned wanting some custom Save-the-Date cards to mail out. I asked about her theme, and some of the keywords that came up were: rustic, vintage, and nature.
One of my favorite things about weddings is how people personalize them. Lindsay did a great job with this, and I’m glad I got to play a little part in it!
Last week, while discussing their engagement session, Sarah mentioned wanting to include their motorcycles. Sweet! I got so excited, portrait ideas starting swimming through my mind.
It was a beautiful summer night when I got to see Andy and Clare together. We met at Seneca Lake State Park, and from the second we said hello, I knew this was going to be a relaxed and easy going session.
A few weeks ago, I received a phone call. It went something like this: “Hey Lori, I really need to get some promotional material made for an event I’ve got coming up. I realize my talent is photography, not design, so I am looking for someone to design and print them. Someone mentioned xyz printing company, and I was thinking… wait… you do design, don’t you?”
