These two make each other smile and laugh so easily, you can tell they were made for each other. If you saw their engagement photos, then you saw the love between Clare and Andy, or “Candy” as I learned at the wedding. The big day was just the right amounts of sentimental, humorous and good’ole fashioned fun!
When Krystal and Troy were together, it was as if no one else were around. The love between the two of them, and the family surrounding them, was tangible. The situation was actually ideal: they would get so wrapped up in each other, they would forget I was there.
I met Amber and several other good friends at the hotel for the preparation part of the day. We spent several hours together as they went through nails, makeup, sharing embarrassing stories, mom walking in on said stories… it was a blast.
We had a great time walking along the canal on a gorgeous summer day. When we finished up, Anne mentioned wanting some custom Save-the-Date cards to mail out. I asked about her theme, and some of the keywords that came up were: rustic, vintage, and nature.
One of my favorite things about weddings is how people personalize them. Lindsay did a great job with this, and I’m glad I got to play a little part in it!
Last week, while discussing their engagement session, Sarah mentioned wanting to include their motorcycles. Sweet! I got so excited, portrait ideas starting swimming through my mind.
It was a beautiful summer night when I got to see Andy and Clare together. We met at Seneca Lake State Park, and from the second we said hello, I knew this was going to be a relaxed and easy going session.
With a wine themed wedding coming up in August, where better to make engagement portraits then on the wine trail? I truly believe we are blessed to live so close to the gorgeous Finger Lakes, and to share it with two people in love is nothing short of awesome!
