Sunday, August 15 was the feast of the Assumption, as celebrated by the Catholic Church. The Church of the Assumption in Fairport, NY decided to celebrate with an outdoor mass at the Perinton Community Center. Even though the weather didn’t exactly cooperate, there was still an estimated 500 people in attendance! Congratulations to Father Ed and the Church of the Assumption for a successful event!
